wow. some women are just so beautiful when they're pregnant. (and I'm going out on a limb here that Lyndsay is this hot all the time!)
Working with clients who are totally open to anything I suggest, who get their hair done right before the shoot and who put a little extra into their makeup is one of my favorite things in the world... because it allows me to make awesomeness like this::

lower minland & vancouver island shoot-a-thon | whitehorse children's photographer
I'm so excited to announce that in the spring, I'll be making a trip to the lower mainland of BC and Vancouver Island for children's portrait sessions! Unfortunately, I will be unable to do newborn sessions but outdoor maternity & outdoor kids sessions for all ages (from babies sitting up to 16).
I will be accepting bookings for the dates of May 26-30 in the Lower Mainland (specific areas TBA) and on June 2-6 for Vancouver Island (specific areas TBA) and the details work as follows::
-$250 session fee is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
-session fees are 100% non refundable
-there is a $500 print requirement (payment plans can be arranged)
-sessions will be an hour to an hour and a half long
-max of 3 siblings ($50 for each additional child), immediate family only.
I need your help to ensure that this event is a huge success! Refer your friends, sisters, neighbors, colleagues and anyone else you know with kids to book a session with me while I'm in the city and not only will you receive a $50 print credit to spend on your print order (which WILL count towards your $500 print reqirement) but the friend you refer will ALSO get a $50 print credit to spend on their print order.
You are encouraged to refer a many people as possible... the more people who book as a result of your referral, the more print credit you can earn!! Unbelievable!!

I never tire of my job. I adore each of the families I work with and this hot mama was definitely NO exception. Samantha showed up with a bag full of clothes & jewelry and a fabulous attitude. She had never had professional portraits done before and so she was a blank slate. How fun!!

Okay, I know I say this all the time but I love my job. Maternity photography is so much fun because my clients are so happy and full of anticipation!! And honestly, how could a person NOT love that kind of energy!
This amazing couple was no different. Anne & Manuel were so warm, welcoming and so stinkin' funny! I can't tell you how much time we spent cracking each other up! These two are welcoming their first baby into the world later this summer and I know that he/she will be lavished with love and adoration... with a mom and dad so cool, funny and fun to be with, how can a kid go wrong!

We spent a portion of their maternity session indoors but then, since the Whitehorse weather was absolutely PERFECT (yes, sometimes the weather man is right), we headed outdoors to include some of the beautiful property that they live on in the images. I couldn't resist this image of them smoochin' at the woodshed. I think this is one of my faves from the day!
What a wonderful couple. I know the waiting is going to be tough for the next few weeks but it will all be worth it! Can't wait to meet your wee one! Thanks so much, Anne & Manuel for inviting me into your beautiful home.
