After such a long run of bellies and babies over the past few weeks, spending my morning with Darwin and Aria was a very welcomed change of pace. These two kept me on my toes, in fact, I spent much of the session catching up and even running now and then!
I loved playing down at the shorline of the Yukon River, showing Darwin how to identify wishing rocks and exchanging knock-knock jokes.
Aria was a little cautious of me and my "black box" in the beginning but she was clearly enamored with the fields of wildflowers that we found everywhere... lupins, daisies, dandelions and even arctic poppies. Wow.
This is one sibling pair that really, really love each other. Sweetest thing you've seen all day? Yeah, I thought so!
Gorgeous! Can't wait to see the rest.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful shots of some wonderful kids!
ReplyDeleteSweet kids!
ReplyDeleteMy heart is in the country so the picture of Aria in the field is especially beautiful for me! And Darwin looking into the camera -- such a grown up boy. I can hardly wait to see the rest of the pictures! Even though I signed in as Anonymous I'm their grandma LOL.
ReplyDeleteThe baby in the field of flowers? Reminds me of a Claude Monet painting. Monet born in 1842 was an impressionist painter -- many famous flower and garden paintings. To capture it on film ... ah:)
ReplyDeleteI love the first one!!! Can't wait to see the rest!
