Wowzers, this has been one seriously baby-heavy week! I love giving you this delicious little morsel to enjoy as I head to Vancouver Island to take care of my dad.

This wee darling is Khloe. She is eleven days old and the most committed little sleeper I've ever met! She was zonked out when she walked in the door and stayed that way right up until the end of her session (but really, it was just having her diaper changed that made her test out her lungs!!)

Her Mama, Tenisha just sit back and relaxed while I worked my magic with her precious newborn and the images will steal your heart, I promise!

Earlier this fall, Khloe's daddy, Cody was in a serious dirtbike crash in Porter Creek. Sadly, he did not survive so he didn't even get to meet his sweet baby girl. The following images are to celebrate Cody's life and to hopefully bring this family some healing.

One of the sweetest ways to spend a morning is photographing a newborn baby. This is the darling Emilia (Emmie) and although she tried to show us her toughest, most stubborn newborn tricks, we persisted and she fell asleep in a very deep & meaningful way! She looks remarkably like her big brother, Nick but is very much a little lady.

She brought all the sweetness that one wee babe could possibly hold and gave us this ::

This sweet little red hat was a gift from a friend and much to our surprise, it fits! Mama said she looks a bit like a garden gnome. I think she's kinda right!

This is Brooke. I photographed her a long, long time ago at her house in the snow. This time she joined me at the studio and we had a grand ol' time rocking the flower fabrics and tutus.

Brooke has lived through some pretty amazing stuff. She deals with a condition called lymphadenitis which left her with some small scars on her neck where the doctors had to remove nasty cysts. But truth be told, to spend even five minutes with this kiddo, you'd never know she's fought the battle that she has. She has a few more surgeries to go but she is full of energy, laughs and joy.

I am so excited to show off some of my newest fabric backgrounds for newborn sessions!! This is Miss Amelia. She came down to the studio to help me demonstrate to you just how pretty these fabrics are and why you really must call the studio STAT to book YOUR newborn session. Here we have Thomas. I photographed this little chubster back in May and he has changed and grown in so many ways (hello! Look at those cheeks!) His mama & daddy have a hilarious sense of humor and I couldn't resist this monster costume. It's unanimously agreed that this costume requires a song and that song would be HERE.

And the cuteness doesn't stop there... oh no, we're bringing you several more doses of high-octane chub-a-rama cuteness!! Brace yourself!

Some days I wonder how on earth I can manage having this volume of sweetness in my life! I know I say ALL the time that I have the best job in the world, but it's totally true. My clients have such beautiful children and my life gets just a little richer and my heart a little fuller after each and every session.

This is Esther. She is such a doll with a coy, elusive smile and enough curiosity to keep her interested for a long, long time. Not to mention those piercing blue eyes. Could my job get any better? I honestly don't think so... but I'm gonna definitely stick around to find out. I say bring on the babies & kids. I wanna see them ALL!!
