avery | vanier catholic school grad | whitehorse grad girls photographer

Today was so much fun! I got to photograph this beautiful young lady who graduated from Vanier Catholic School as part of a new project I'm working on. Graduation is the last big milestone before a young lady's wedding day and as a mother of two boys, I know that our family will experience graduation differently than if we had girls. So with this in mind, I've always secretly wanted to photograph girls at this exciting time of their lives. To help capture a small piece of their personality when they are becoming independent women, ready to fly.

In the coming months, more information will be made available on this fun and unique twist on the traditional graduation portraits. In the meantime, I will share a few favorites from this session and a few others!

This is Avery. She is leaving soon to head to Grande Prairie, Alberta where she will be going to school to study kinesiology. She loves playing soccer (she sounds like quite a force to be reckoned with on the field!) and as a result of sustaining injuries from her sport, she has developed an interest in helping to heal herself and others. She has a fantastic way about her that is easy and relaxed and she seems to do most things with a huge smile on her face!

If you want to know more about booking a portrait session for the graduating girl in your life, please get in touch either via email at info@vanessafallephotography or by phone at 867-668-2296. Our new downtown studio is now open and can be found at 101-107 Main Street. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 10-4.
